Village Animal Hospital

We have been going there for over 14 years. They were the most considerate and passionate staff I have ever found. Dr. Jeff was excellent and when it was time for us to say goodbye to our babies there was so much love with us you could feel it. Never hesitate to take your babies there.

I took my 4 month old Pure Breed German Shepherd puppy in for his first check up. We had moved since our last dog had past away, so I went to the nearest Vet. 5 minutes into the check up the Dr. begins to TELL me that we will do an xray when your dog is schedueled to be neutered in the 6 to 8 month range....ahhhh....what? I came in for a physical and intial shots and now we are getting my full blood GSD neutered? This was like talking to a vacuum sales person. SELL SELL SELL. Then the Dr. leaves and without a word a girl comes in and take the leash and starts to walk out of the room....I am said "where are you taking him?" She tells me "to gets the vaccinations" and walks out. I followed her out and watched the procedures and they did not seem to like this. I told them that I have always been in the room and held my dogs when getting shots. I was told they don't do that here because people might faint, but next time we can have you there. The staff, from the vets to the vet techs are amazingly personable, caring and engaging. They do a fantastic job of explaining the problems with our pets. We have been with them for 8 years and they have gone through letting one pet go to adopting 2 more with us.
