Libson Twin City Auto & Truck Parts and Service

I had heard 2 good recommendations but unfortunately didn't have a good experience. They had my car for 12 days and the bill for 2 axle bearings, a seal and a gasket was over $950 for my rear end. I was expecting a day or 2 wait and a cost at about 1/3rd of that. I don't normally write negative reviews but was so dissatisfied that I felt compelled to advise others of my disappointment with Libsen.

Been going to Libson for a while because they are close to my shop, but the more and more I try its just becoming less and less worth it. They quoted me $200-300 for a driveshaft and said "should be closer to $200". Well, when I picked it up it was $315. Expect to hear excuses about why the timeline they gave is not possible any more. (i.e. "it was a Jewish holiday today so he is off". Or the next day, "a family emergency and no one can work on it". This is after my shop purchased a rebuilt transmission that lasted a week before failing. With the inconvenience as a business owner to have to tell OUR customer we dont know when their vehicle will be done is unacceptable. The excuses we are given are ultimately damaging our reputation to the people we are trying to help. I am sorry guys I had to write this. I really wish I didnt have to give a bad review. Because of our business history we will still utilize your flywheel machining services as those have been 1-2 day jobs.
