The University of Minnesota-Department of Neurosurgery is one of the nation s leading academic centers in neurosurgery. It offers a variety of services related to neuro-oncology and skull base and spinal surgeries. The department supports various clinical programs, including spinal, image-guided, and stereotactic and functional neurosurgeries. The University of Minnesota-Department of Neurosurgery also supports several research programs in gene and stem cell therapies, immunotherapy, cancer vaccines, and brain tumor stem cells and cancer biology.
