Provided by DexKnowsMy 7-yr-old Kenmore dryer wasn't heating, and I discovered on a Sunday of a holiday weekend. My call was personally answered (no dreaded call center) on the 2nd ring, and the service technicians arrived when they said they would the following day. Both gentlemen were unpretentious, down to earth, explained the repair, showed me where the old part failed (heating element), how it differed from the new part. They were prompt and professional. Yes, there's trip charge plus new part charge - I expected this. I would recommend this team. No "hard sell" to buy services I neither requested, wanted or needed.

Provided by DexKnowsI have had a similar experience with this bunch. A $70 house call fee, which I assumed would be rolled into the overall fee, then a $75 charge to replace a $3 thermal fuse in my dryer. The job took all of 10 minutes. If I'd said no, I would have been charged $70 just to have the sullen repairman come to the house. When we called the company to question the fee, were blown off in none-too--polite fashion. Another "charge whatever we can get away with" company -- and one I will never call again and will advise all my friends and neighbors to steer clear of.

Provided by DexKnowsThe dryer had thermostat gone bad. THey char $89 just for coming to the house and diagnosis. After diagnosis, they will give you quote for fixing. If you dont fix , you lose $89 without any service. If you chose to fix it, the fixing quote will add to the $89 service call charge.Just to fix the thermostat they charged $204 dollars

Provided by DexKnowsHad burner coils replaced 3 months and 2 weeks ago. Paid 170.00 for a 10 min job. Warranty was good for only 3 months and the same problem occured and they refused to warranty or discount in any way. Obviously using bad or used parts if they only warranty for 3 months. Will never do business with this company again. They were incredibly rude and difficult to deal with on the phone.

Provided by DexKnowsWe had a panic on our hands as our Frigidaire refrigerator that was only 5 years old stopped working. With Thanksgiving only 3 days away and it being after 5pm on a Sunday we gave Don's Appliance a call and they quickly sent out their tech. named Greg and he went right to work. He even had the evaporator fan we needed in his truck and had us back up and running in just over an hour. What a lifesaver!!!! He was very polite and professional and didn't make a mess at all. We highly recommend these guys for emergency repairs!! Thanks guys!!

Provided by SuperpagesWould not recommend this place of business. The serviceman that was sent out was supposed to fix our dishwasher because it wouldn't drain, and our house was at risk of flooding as a result. My husband explained this thoroughly to the serviceman and told him specifically NOT to leave the water running while he was testing the appliance. Rather than testing the appliance and then turning it off before leaving our house, the serviceman left the dishwasher running - with the water on and then left the house to go get a part. As a result, our basement flooded. My husband returned home as the basement was flooding. He opened the door to stop the dishwasher cycle then had to manually drain the water by hand. When we tried to bring this to the owner's attention, we were told it was our fault the basement flooded. No attempts were made to rectify the situation and we were charged full price for the job. Terrible, terrible customer service. Don't trust them.
