Great Italian Deli

This is a neighborhood institution. We stop in for pizza, pasta, salads, etc., and take them to Lake Harriet for great al fresco picnic dining.

Broders Cucina Italiana

This is an Italian deli and partial-service restaurant combined into a pretty small space, so be forewarned. Otherwise, it's a great place for a quick meal or take-out, with some of the best, if not the best, New York-style pizza in Minneapolis. They also have pasta dishes, soups, and salads. Everything is inexpensive and consistently good. Their deli has a great selection of meats, cheeses, fresh pasta, and lots of imported Italian specialties.
