I love buying my veggies and fruits there,by the little bushel.

You have GOT to make the trip to Pete's Fruit Market! This market has it all..great prices, high-quality produce,(and Mexican food items!) HUGE variety,and a friendly and knowledgeable staff. Pete's is everything all business owners want to be. As an example of the value, when I visited Pete's,(in mid-January), I purchased Bing Cherries (certainly out of season). I paid $3.00 for a basket that contained approximately 3 lb. They have many, many items you just can't find in your local supermarket. Absolutely outstanding!

I think this is the best hidden secret in Milwaukee.

The best produce and price they have baskets of fruit for 3.00 are you kidding me.

I never understood how the make money.

I guess its on volume the place is always packed.

They also have the best Mexican food in the WORLD...

This place is a gem to Milwaukee. It's family owned and operated. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Their fruit is always good and their prices are much better than the grocery store. Try out the watermelon-I've never had a bad one yet! The owner Pete claims to be a watermelon specialist-he says he's been in the business for 35 years.
