        Overall

        The Catfish House is the place to go for real fried catfish. I love going here the people are very friendly. Wish I could go weekly. A place to be checked out..

        I have been twice. The first visit they let us know they forgot the order in the kitchen. The second the overall service was awful. They forgot drinks and took quite a while after forgetting. They brought the setup bowls and said "enjoy!" Enjoy what? Then the order of the full catfish did not arrive with other meals. We were told it would be right out. Then we were told the kitchen forgot to drop it in the fryer. Half of the people at the table were ready to leave when it finally arrived. The waitress said the manager would take care of it. We got the bill and they removed $2. I then spoke to the manager who did not apologize. She finally agreed to cut the one meal to half price. Never an apology. I will not return.

        Operational for over three decades, Catfish House is a seafood restaurant offering home style food to the central Alabama community. Located in Millbrook, Ala., it features dining rooms with a seating capacity of over 275 customers. In addition to catfish, it serves a variety of other seafood, including oysters, scallops, shrimp and crab. Catfish House serves specialty items as well as dishes prepared to individual tastes. Its menu features a range of appetizers, entrees, combinations, desserts and beverages. Some of the items it offers include whole catfish, crab claws, fried/boiled shrimps, seafood platters, chicken tenders and New York style cheesecakes. The restaurant also provides unlimited hushpuppies, beans and coleslaw.
