All my experiences with Eastman Auto have been pleasant. They are a small garage - who has been around for over 70 years. It is unfortunate that other customers may have encountered unexplained or poor service, etc. I think that no one is perfect - mechanics, receptionists, included. So, I would encourage all to give Eastman's another try! Keep it local!

i put $3000 down on a vehicle with payments of $257 monthly for 8 months on Wednesday, February 10. They said the 2005 Ford Escape was running rough so they were gonna do a tune up and oil change, which took approximately 9 days. I picked my new vehicle up on Friday, February 19. Over the weekend there were multiple problems, blowing black smoke, stalling out, clicking under the hood, transmission or motor light was coming on, with all the problems and little knowledge about vehicles, I immediately called Holly in the office to have it looked at. She said they had no available time to look at it until Friday, February 26, so I made the appointment. On Thursday, February 25 the transmission went out, as well as an axel broke. We had a snow storm but driveway was shoveled no knowledge how an axel could have so easily busted. Monday, February 29, still no vehicle, still haven't even looked at it. First payment is due March 10 and only had the vehicle 6 days in a month.

I put a big down payment on a suv and drove a loaner from them for 8 days before my truck was ready for me to pick up (I was told a couple days and it would be ready) then the pick up day and times kept being changed! It was stalling and blowing black smoke and they were scheduled to look at it and Then 4 days after I picked it up I had to have it towed back to the shop and it's been there for 3 days and didn't get offered a loaner and still am without my vehicle I paid for and also my 1st car payment is due in 12 days and I've only been able to drive my suv for 4 days out of the 1st month!!! Called today and no one can tell me when it can be fixed or picked up!

I AM CURRENTLY SITTING ON A BAD CHECK FROM THEM. BEWARE
