Michael J. Robbins, DO

Dr Robbins is one of the best pain mangt docs out there. However he left the practice as of 9/15/21 to do strictly be an anesthesiologist. I saw him July He assured me that everything would stay the same at the practice. Unfortunately not so I went to my appointment & l there's only 1 Dr the owner & a handful of PA's they gave me my Rxs for 9/2021 & a discharge letter & told me I'd have to go somewhere else since the Dr. can't take over all the patients so he's discharging 1/2 !?!?. So I don't know what I'm going to do & who I'm going to see. I'm not going to go through withdrawals AGAIN U feel like Ur dying! I've only been living in CT for 9 yrs. When I moved here from LI,NY. My neuro sent me here & told me to see Doc Robbins, but he wasn't accepting new patients so I saw a Dr who is no longer there & at the 1st appt they wouldn't give me meds. I ended up in the ER & they gave me 20 pills so 10 day supply @ the time I was living w/ parents so we cut in 1/2 & did 8 AM & PM & lasted 20 days. Yet this Dr.still didn't go through chart, SO, I ended up back in the ER Again! Ironically I had the same Dr. & he was appalled. He actually called this Dr & the Dr told him what to prescribe me yet it took 10 more days to get in. When that Dr left & I was lucky enough to get in w/Dr Robbins who I was supposed to
see in 1st place esp.since he worked kind of hand in hand w/ my neurologist is far as ordering certain tests what was going on I literally thought I died & went to heaven. Now it's hell again! I can't take aspirin /NSAIDS & It's not my fault that there's a handful of ppl who decided to eat them like tic tacs, I have neuropathy, carpal tunnel both wrist elbows, a "syrinx", 2 bulging discs in my neck, fibromyalgia. That's the pain stuff I also have other issues asthma, gastro, B12 shots just to name a few but this Dr feels like he can just toss me aside myself find someone in less than 30 days. Ive hit a dead end called a few some don't take ins. or no new patients??
