        On Dec 13, 2017 at 2:03PM, the owner of Sterling Realty, Betsy Alvarez, Called my husband and I to Inform us that we were not approved for a condo that we had applied for. We had given an escrow deposit on this condo in the amount of $2300. We did not sign a lease because our offer was contingent upon certain repairs being made in the unit. The repairs were not made and they decided not to move forward with us but are holding our escrow deposit which is completely illegal. They are refusing to return it, and the owner called us while having a psychotic breakdown, screaming, accusing and antagonizing us and hung up the phone. This is so unprofessional and illegal, not to mention unethical conduct! This business should be shut down ASAP!!!
