Opened in 1956, Coral Terrace Elementary School enrolls more than 500 students in prekindergarten through grade five. The school has several academic departments, such as language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. It additionally offers classes in music, art, and health and physical education. Coral Terrace Elementary School offers a range of after-school programs, such as homework assistance, indoor and outdoor games, and arts and crafts. It has a parent-teacher association that organizes several fundraising events.
