Discount Smog and Repair

Of all the smog check stations in Merced, I sought this one out specifically because of its online YP ten dollar discount. It was my first time getting my car smog checked, and it was a pretty bad experience.



I walked in, and none of the workers acknowledged my presence, and I had difficulty finding their office. (It's located in the far back). The man working in the office was busy clicking away on Facebook, and treated me with an rude and apathetic demeanor. After filling out the quick paperwork, he took my keys, and had another man drive my car in and proceed with its operation.



The man who charged me was also the man who drove my car in. He grunted a response and tossed me a receipt. I tried to ask about the Yp online coupon I had printed out and he grunt/mumbled something incoherent. So I couldn't understand if he applied it or not.



This place was terrifyingly cheap for a smog check, but the service was absolutely terrible. The next time I have to get any work on my car done, i'd rather pay more at a different establishment, at least so that i'm not in a super uncomfortable atmosphere...

The employees were very respectful and professional. We were in and out of there in less than 20 minutes. We were asked to sit and wait in their office with comfortable couches and a warm heater. I will definately go back to this place of business in the future. I highly recommend it.

Somehow between my car and their service office I lost the coupon I had printed from YP.com.

No problem, the very kind gentleman gave me the $10.00 off anyway.

I was in and out within 20 minutes.
