        Called to clean and check out 2 grandfather clocks, miller and another. Miller kept stopping after pilgrim worked on it and approximately 6 mo later the pendulum crashed to the floor. Called homestead clocks he checked it out and said pilgrim oiled the mechanism breaking off the teeth on the gears a 900 to 1500 dollar repair. After a 3 week time period with no time piece I started the pendulum, set the hands and it is working fine. No $1000 payment and no more "expert" advice. May be an anomaly on the part of both of these clock shops, but think twice before calling.
