RJ Hardwood Flooring

I would give this company 10 stars if I could. We were refinishing the hardwood in our kitchen and had a hard time finding a re-finishing company. Luckily we landed on RJ Hardwood, and i'm glad we never looked back. From the very first phone call Rick and his wife were courteous, helpful, and encouraging. Rick would always call the night before, showed up every time on time, and answered all our of our (incessant) questions instilling confidence every step of the way. He worked around our schedule (we were doing some remodeling) and was always accommodating and a pleasure to work with. Rick takes pride in his work and it shows. I've worked for contractors the last 7 years, and wish RJ Hardwood could teach a class on how to be a good contractor. They have a winning formula. I agree with the other review, don't bother getting other quotes -- even if they look the same on paper, you'll be comparing apples and oranges. You'll be glad you did. Thanks Rick and family!!!!!

We relocated from Orange County to Fallbrook and knew no Contractors in this area to do any of the remodeling we had to do. Rick is one of the best we have ever seen! Being Contractors ourselves for 23 years we are hard to please as we know more than the average home owners. He is so professional, shows up on time, keeps to his schedule, takes so much pride in the work he does & the finished product. He is a perfectionist! His prices are very reasonable and I would NEVER waste my time to shop around the bid...you get MORE than you pay for with Rick when it comes to his quality of work & craftsmanship. He refinished our wood floors that had been so abused by the previous owner...they look brand new now. Just can't say Thank You enough for the job well done! Steve & Diana Miller

I Love my hardwood Floors!! A Five Star rating from me for R J Hardwood Flooring. Rick, Annette his wife and crew worked diligently with me to address my needs. I've a busy house with lots of pets. My desire for a beautiful county french had to be balanced with practicality. Rich and Annette really worked to find the just right hardwood floors for me. I love them...solid white oak with 3 coats of finish. Thank you Rick, Annette and crew for extra efforts and a custom job done with care, skill and attention to detail. I really appreciated the clean job site at the end of each day. I will call on you again!

I own a 1950s home in Hemet with solid oak wood floors. R.J. Flooring installed the same wood floors in a new walk-in closet. Turned out really well. Will have Rick return to install more of the same when we remodel our kitchen. Good work. (Sorry submitted earlier before realized didn't give a star rating. Rick (RJ Hardwood Flooring) just installed wood flooring on my staircase and upstairs hallway. He showed up when he said he would, he kept a clean work site, he charged the price he quoted and he did a fantastic job. Rick also repaired some work on wood flooring in my family room. Another company had installed this flooring and he repaired a mistake they had made. We are really pleased with ALL the work done. He had Bruce Eddy assist him on the stairs. I highly recommend this company. The owner, Rick Schwanke, and helper Sam were great to work with. Both very professional and are did a superb installation job to replace a floor that got water damage. If I have another need to do more floors I will defiantly use them again.

Rick at RJ Hardwood Floors did an excellent job on my house. He installed 1200 sq ft of engineered prefinished hardwood flooring over both wood subfloor and concrete slab. He did it for the price he quoted and showed up everyday to work on it until it was done. Very professional. Took the extra step to moisture proof the slab before installing wood over that portion. And shimmed up the transition between concrete and wood subfloor where they were not exactly level with each other. I liked his work so much I also hired him to finish the wood in my staircase which was installed unfinished. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone or use him again myself.
