Maynard C. Stiles Wastewater Treatment Plant is operated by the Public Works Division, which is governed by the City of Memphis in Tennessee. The division offers transportation and treatment services for domestic and industrial wastewater. It provides collection and disposal services for solid waste and garbage. The division also offers street paving, pothole repair, waste recycling and heavy equipment maintenance services. It operates environmental engineering and maintenance sections. The division manages a staff of more than 1,200 people.
