        Founded in 1948, Mech-Tronics began as a mechanical and electrical assembly. Currently, the company has grown to be a supplier of precision fabricated components serving the aerospace, avionics, communications, medical and military industries. Based in Melrose Park, Ill., it offers manufacturing services in precision sheet metal fabrication, photochemical etching, aluminum dip brazing and nuclear instrumentation. In addition, the firm provides computer numerical control milling machining (CNC), certified welding, chemical conversion, hardware installation and painting. Mech-Tronics is ISO 9001:2000 and AS9100B:2004 certified.
