These guys are the WORST !!!
called to make a service appt for LG dryer repair , explained the problem and what I had done to fix it and set up an appointment.
My wife was home when the repair man came. He turned the unit on say the problem as described - airflow sensors showed a clogged duct. He turn the unit on , checked the airflow and said it was ok. My wife asked him about the smell of hot air and he said to ignore it. When she asked him about how much to repair the sensor he told her it wasnt worth repairing and that he didnt have to tools to do it - and said "Just ignore the problem" then charged us $80 for a less than 5 minute service call. I called the office to complain and the lady told me that wasnt what he had said then told me she didnt want to talk to me anymore.
Dont claim to be a repair shop if you dont know how to repair the units you claim to be a service site for.
These people are incompetent thieves!!

Avoid this company avoid LG... LG makes terrible appliances and also contracts out terrible service companies. My 6 year old LG refrigerator stopped cooling, called LG and they sent this company to run diagnostics. They came, ran some tests, drained the Freon from the compressor (which seemed strange) and 15 minutes later handed me a $70 bill. Guy told me the compressor was broken, but he assured me that it was all covered by warranty. Later the day lady called me back, told me it would be nearly $400 (labor and additional PTC and relay components) to repair even though the compressor was 100% covered. When I asked the for the inventory of part she told me “No”. She said she didn’t have to provide me the part numbers… This company is shady, I’m scrapping the LG….

Company has very poor customer service. The owner is one of the rudest people I have ever spoken with on the phone. P&F is an authorized service center for LG brand, but I would look elsewhere because they won't fix anything and will not stand behind their work. They are only looking for ways to charge more stating the issue is a new problem.

Poor Customer Service

This company was overbooked, and when the repair man arrived he charged $65 to partially diagnose our problem. He did not follow the Service Tech Data Sheet for our appliance to troubleshoot, did not perform the proper test for the error code, and wanted to replace a very expensive part without checking to see if the test proved an alternate explanation. Our appliance is no longer under warranty, and I did not want to pay to fix something (for a $175 part on back order) which is charged to us first with no guarantee of service date, especially considering that the repair tech may have overlooked a simpler and cheaper fix. The manager/owner of this company is very rude and not centered on customer service. Look out for this company because they only want your money.
