General Info: City of McAllen Parks and Recreation provides cultural, educational, instructional, recreational programs and structured activities to residents of all ages. It offers a wide range of activities, such as adult art workshop, dance, creative arts, clay play and drawing. It offers various recreational activities that include aerobics, Mexican ballet, cheerleading, tumbling, jazz dance, folkloric, and modeling and poise. The athletics division of parks and recreation department offers a wide range of sports, such as softball, football, basketball, volleyball, soccer, tennis, golf, swimming, and track and field. The department s athletic facilities include Bicentennial Soccer Complex, Boys Club Athletic Field, Cascade Ballfield and Los Encinos Athletic Facility.
