U.S. Chemical & Plastics is a privately-owned corporation that specializes in the formulation and manufacture of repair, appearance and maintenance products. This includes a variety of putties, fillers, waxes, compounds, paints, coatings, catalysts and adhesives. U.S. Chemical & Plastics is a subsidiary of Alco Industries, a consortium of 14 international manufacturing companies. Product lines include custom polyester types of autobody repair materials, benzoyl peroxide, epoxy adhesives, industrial coatings, primer surfacers and fiberglass materials. Brand names include DuraGlas, All-Metal and Kromate. U.S. Chemicals & Plastics was founded in 1950 as a producer of air-dry body filler for automobile repairs. The corporation maintains its headquarters in Massillon, Ohio.
