Capers Restaurant

I called ahead and made reservations (just in case) on 7/2/13 for Capers Restaurant at the Landmark Inn in Marquette, MI 49855. The service was friendly and they took my information down and asked which type of seating I would like (booth) expertly. We arrived a bit early, but the staff was very friendly and sat us down at our booth. The atmosphere was gorgeous and the way the light shone through the windows on my date made it that much better :).



She ordered the Chicken, I ordered the fresh locally caught whitefish, and we each had a glass of the Red Blend wine and tea at the end of the meal.

First, we were given some bread with a dipping oil that started the meal off right. The side salad that we each received with our meal was fresh, crisp and very well rounded and tasty.

The fish was perfect temperature, flavor, and perfectly done and up until the last bite, just kept getting better. The sides that accompanied our meals were phenomenal as well! The rice was very tasty, her noodles were to die for, as well as the mussels that came with my fish! We had more than enough food, and finished it down to the last bite. Her chicken was succulent and moist, tender and juicy. It was a very pleasant meal that in all respects went perfectly. I cannot thank you enough for a wonderful Tuesday evening!
