Sticks BBQ

When I review a restaurant I look at the quality of the food, cleanliness, patron/ staff interaction and customer satisfaction.

(1) I had the beef brisket and coleslaw. The brisket was unreal. I have lived in 6 States and 3 times as many cities so I've eaten at a "few" barbecue restaurants. I give Sticks brisket a 3rd place overall in my 62 year journey. Add the barbecue sauce and we have a tie at the number 1 slot. Moist, FABULOUS taste, texture and mixture of spices. YUMMY. The slaw was perfect. Not too sweet and super fresh.

(2) Cleanliness would easily pass the white glove test even after a good bleaching.

(3) The patron/ staff interaction is one of the best I have ever seen. The young lady up front is kind, patient, professional and super sweet. Let's talk about the owner Brent in the next bullet.

(4) I rank owner Brent No. 1 in customer satisfaction. I firmly believe that his mission is to make sure that your food and experience is a top priority. He went waaay out of his way to make sure that I was satisfied when I had a small issue. I feel the difference here is that he's addressing issues because he likes people and he genuinely wants to satisfy their every need. My point is that he's not addressing issues just because he wants his business to do well. All business owners want and need that. He is a very genuine kind-hearted person.

(5) I give Sticks BBQ - HWY 22 a solid A++.
