Bear Run Log Cabins

We love this place great view very clean Bob was great the owner ,road to cabin is asphalt BUT if your on a motor cycle I would not recomend straight up a 75 degree hill horeshoe turn at top of hill where we went down and bike went over on my leg and foot . then up another steep hill to another sharp turn. If it rains which it did alot I wouldn't ride up, dangerous when dry let alone wet . I wouldn't let my husband ride it up on wet payment dangergerous so we left our bike much to his protest @ bottom of road til it dried. someone stoled the 100 aniversary shield off of the seat ripped the seat ,now have to replace the seat .I think all of these cabins in maggie valley area should show pics of the road u have to travel to get to cabins we left 2 days early to spooky drivin down that road lost $300.00 no offer of refund for the 2 days we left early I get it, but it is the responsibility of the owner not only to show the views and how nice their cabins are but also the road u have to take to see this beauty.I give the cabin a four star rating BUT a 1 star for their road to the cabin for motor cycles.
