Division Tattoo

If I could give negative stars, I would!! Completely ignorant! You probably shouldn't call a potential client a "rude f***ing c***"... Just a heads up!

Save your skin and go somewhere else!



I've used Rich Fisher (owner of Division Tattoo) for two major tattoos - a half sleeve five years ago and more recently, a large leg piece. The work he did five years ago was great, but his quality has diminished considerably because the leg piece he did in March 2013 has significant blow-out. I'm actually in the process of having the entire piece lightened with a laser so it can be covered by another (higher quality) artist.



I did bring the problem to Rich's attention and told him I was planning laser treatment. He offered to cover the blow-out by adding background around the tattoo (more work by him? no thanks), but offered no refund for low quality work. By the way, blow-out is caused by tattooing too hard and too fast. Very disappointed, to say the least.



Lesson learned here: If you want a high-quality, custom tattoo, find an artist that has at least a 3 month wait list. Rich charges the same rate as the high-end artists in the metro Detroit area. Well, he's actually a lot more if you factor in the cost of laser removal.
