Saigon Vietnamese Restaurant

I eat at Saigon about 4 times a month. The food is incredible and the prices are great! The service is always friendly and fast. I have always found the owners to be quite warm and hospitable.

Last week I went out to eat at Saigon Restaurant in Madison, AL. After reviewing the menu I ordered my meal. When I received the bill, I noticed that the cost was higher than what was listed in the menu. I informed the waitress of the mistake. She called the owner out since he was the one who made the bill. He told me that the price has been increased. I asked him why didn't he correct it in the menu, or at least let the customers know of the new price. He didn't want to admit the mistake and tried to argue that he forgot or didn't want to change the menu, and expected the customer to pay for the new price. I don't mind paying for the new price, but I think that he was lying and being irrational. How do the customers know what the new price is if he doesn't have it listed or announced anywhere. He can't just tell the customer to pay any price he wants. I believe that he is being deceitful. I have never seen anyone operating business this way. This is really ridiculous.
