Macclenny Veterinary Hospital

I absolutely love this vet! He is a great Vet, has always done his absolute best to care for my cat & two dogs! I would recommend him to anyone.

Have been going to Macclenny Vet clinic for as long as I can remember. Dr. Joe Harrison recognizes you as soon as he walks in the door! The wait is never too long which is unexpected for walk in service. Staff and assistants were extremely friendly. I recommend Lindsay and Brad. Very kind and extremely helpful on the different services offered. Highly recommend!

I've used this vet since I was a kid and we took the family pets. Now I'm the dad and we still use Dr. Harrison. For the people who complain about money, this isn't a hospital or a credit card company. They don't just hand out credit because you are broke and don't plan for emergencies...



Their pricing is way better than most places and Doc is very knowledgeable.

I have had nothing but great experience with Dr. Harrein at Macclenny vet. My first visit was when my horse coliced and needed emergency treatment. Dr. Harrein saved his life. Shortly after my Labrador had puppies and Macclenny vet worked well with me to get all the necessary vaccinations and paperwork completed within a strict timeframe to fly the puppies to their new homes. A month later a different horse cut her eye open and Dr. Harrein stitched her up beautifully. Just tonight I took in my 3 Labrador retrievers and my cat in for annual preventative exams and had yet again another great experience! Cost has been very affordable, everyone is really nice and Dr. Harrein takes the time to talk with you and answer any questions. This will be my vet for years to come!

Friday, I found my Jack Russell, Chloe lifeless and having seizures... Today 3days later she is not 100%but she is on the mend. Thank God they understand that times are tough and they will not be getting the money for their services up front.. They were/are so good to my baby girl.

it is ashamed when you call the Macclenny Vet Clinic to get help and they can't help because you don't have 600.00 could not even work with us on payments,need money up front i can see this but in a emergency they should help some people don't have 600.00 like that, My nieces beagle could not have her puppies on her own we called the vet and they would not even touch her without the money, so now we have a broken heart child because Ms Dixie did not make it she went to dog heaven thanks a lot Macclenny Vet Clinic for all you help shows how much you really care about animals or the citizens of Baker County

I had a very different experience than the other reviewer. I boarded an elderly cat with them due to a job transfer. A friend was supposed to pick up my cat and keep her til my return a few months later. Well, the friend had an emergency, could not get to Maccl to pick up the cat, and the poor cat was stuck there for over a month. Tthe staff was very kind and patient. This was a few years ago and I've never had a bad experience there yet.

I went away on a trip and decided to leave my dog with this facility. What a mistake!! I came back nearly ten days later only to pick up my dog, saturated in urine!! She reeked as if she had been laying in her urine for days!! I had took her blanket there with her to make her feel more comfortable, and the blanket was saturated with urine as well!! I would not recommend this facility for boarding of any of your pets!! Stay away!!
