Robot Fight & Fitness

I live in west los angeles and was looking for a good MMA gym to get in shape and have fun. I found that at Robot! I was intimidated at first but the instructors were all helpful and willing to answer my every question. I was afraid things would get too technical for me but Tim easily broke down the basics in an easy to understand way by relating it to something I understood: playing the guitar. It's obvious how much these guys (and girls) care about their students. Can't wait for my next class!

Having never done any sort of martial arts or fighting before, I was wary of trying it. But Tim is a natural teacher and made me feel very comfortable with my (LIMITED!) skill set. Very very welcoming place, I highly recommend it.

I started training here in March of 2010, I was immediately welcomed into the fold and was learning techniques pretty fast. The instructors here are top notch and consistently win medals at tournaments. So yeah they know their stuff! Beyond that, they are able to concisely convey their knowledge to the students. All of this in a great space, and fun atmosphere. I would recommend this school in a heartbeat to anyone interested in learning Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or Muay Thai!

I've been training at Robot BJJ since its inception. The teachers are great and the team is very friendly and amicable. Would train here for a thousand years if I lived a thousand years!! A++!

I live in NC, but I trained with Robot briefly during a short stay in Los Angeles. The teachers are very proficient, and also skilled communicators (a huge plus). My technique took a leap pretty quickly when I was training there...a lot of individual attention to my form from the instructors. I felt comfortable in the studio, even though I was a novice from out of town with very little Jiu-Jitsu experience. The basic setup, starting with physical conditioning, then working on technique, then rolling, worked well for me. I ended up learning a lot and meeting some cool people. Miss the Robot crew. Favorite studio I've ever trained at, and I hope to train there again someday.

ive been training with robot going on my second year and i would not go anywhere else!!!! as a female in this male dominated sport training at robot there is no gender barrier we all train the same no one is above the other!! when you come your not just a team member but part of a growing family called robot brazillian jiu jitsu!!! i love you guys!!! ....the cross face queen

Robot BJJ is amazing. I've been training BJJ and MMA for a very long time, and they have hands down the best instructors I've ever learned from. Everything is really high quality, and the people are cool too which is nice. With the quality of instruction and all the classes they do, it's a much better deal than the other places I have trained at. Highly recommend it.
