Northridge Elementary School

This is to me the best school that my son have ever been in. He is learning how to read, write, math, etc in a short period of time after being in this school for only 2 weeks he was already reading. He is 8 years old. I am very happy. I would advice everyone that has a special kid to bring him to this school. My son, since he was born his development was very slow from keeping his head up to crawling, talking, walking , climbing, running, learning. I was told that he is just developing slowly. Then that he has a learning disability. When he was 5 years old. He had another eip done and I was told that he is label as mentally retarded this broke my heart and my husband's heart. I moved to Colorado on May 27th, 2008. My son started school on August 4th, 2008 to September 29th, 2008 at his first Colorado School was not taught well because he was not reading at all. I had a meeting with the Special ED Teacher to see what they are doing, and I left empty handed. I ask how I could help my son, and they could not tell me anything. I moved my son to the Northridge Elementary School. As I said, he is reading, writing, doing math, his self confident is raising everyday he learns something new. This school is a great place for our SPECIAL KIDS from the secretary to all the crew members. They help the kids in every aspect to help them grow up strong in mind, physically, mentally, emotionally, in self esteem, self confident, intellectually.
