Comprehensive Obgyn Livonia

I have been going to the livonia office for about 2 months with my pregnancy. Each visit girls have told me they have waited at least 45 minutes for appts. Another told me she had an ultrasound and was taken back an hour late. As Me and my fiance waited the receptionist had let everyone know whoever had one of the doctors he was running over 45 minutes behind! So I take it this is very common. I was finally taken back for my first ultrasound and the tech told me no infoexcept the due date and the heart beat was fine and rushed me out. We were in there a total of maybe 8 mimutes. She gave no infoabout us having to check out. We stood there confused. After I was told my nausea meds would be called into my pharmacy. Went that evening to pick it up and it was never called in! Now day 2 I called and still nothing. The receptionist said she would have to leave a message with my doctor and not to expect them anytime soon because she's busy with patients! Unprofessional.

I've been to the Livonia office for both of my pregnancies. Dr. Cooper was amazing but every appointment I had I would leave so mad because of how unbelievably rude everyone at the front desk is. Im now pregnant with my third baby and went there for my initial appointment and left feeling the same way as before so I finally decided I had to switch doctors. It's upsetting because the doctors there Are all very nice but the nurses and front desk employees ruin it for everyone. I used to recommend these doctors to friends and family but not anymore. Pregnancies is supposed to be an exciting time and ob appointments are stressful enough without having to deal with rude and completely unhelpful people that check you in and out. These doctors really need to find new employees.

2/3 gynecologists that I have worked with are nice enough if you ever get to see them. The nurses I've worked with are also nice. However the front desk staff at both Livonia and Redford have always been excessively and unnecessarily rude EVERY time I have gone in there. I have also never waited any less than 25 minutes to be seen. My last apt was at 8:00am and I was not seen until 8:37 and then left in the room alone until 8:55. I had no new paperwork and there were only 2 other women there waiting.

The last gyno I saw was also no more than a day over 22 and a bratty know it all who couldn't answer any of my questions.

No more. Finding a new practitioner.

I arrived at 9:10am appt at 9:45am but i was a new patient so I knew i needed time for the paperwork. Front desk checked me in at 9:37am while i listened to other patients complain about their wait, I sat patiently waiting i finished the paperwork and was told I have a co-pay, I realized my money for my co-pay was missing so i walked up to the desk to let the lady know i was going to my car after standing their for 2 minutes i realized it only takes 2 minutes to run to my car. It took about five minutes for me to locate the money and as I entered the doctors office the staff says because i went to my car it caused the doctor to run behind and now I need to reschedule. For me this is bad bad business, Its very evident they were already behind because i was checked in 30 minutes after arriving. This front desk staff handles the business of the doctors poorly and I was refered by a wonerful source so I drove further than necessary. Point being we as a society have to demand good service everytime or take our money elsewhere we have a choice!
