If you like waiting 3 hours over your scheduled appointment and having your doctor continually forget to fill out important forms you need and having his nurse shame you for being sick...well then this is the place for you. Inept, unorganized and rude staff. Horrendous communication. I left after 10 year because dealing with them made me too stressed out. Do not even walk in the door. Dr. Hal is bored with his job and it shows. He overbooks and ALWAYS runs at least one hour behind. The front desk personnel talk to one another as they process you, ignoring you. It is cold and mean there. Definitely not a place to have a family doctor experience. It sucks.

Not knowing what the previous reviewer's situation was, I can only comment on my own dealings with this practice. I've been seeing Blake McGowan for 5 years and I have never had an issue with him. He's a plain spoken, tells it like it is kind of Doc. If you looking for a Doc to just write you scripts so you can get your pills you saw on TV, this isn't the guy. If you have a cold and you want antibiotics because your friends got “Z-Packs” from their Docs, he’s not going to do it. He wants to fix what’s wrong with you and if that means changing your life style, then that's what he does before writing a bunch of scripts so you can fill good about yourself. I will continue to go back to this family practice and see Dr. McGowan. Oh yea, my wife see him too. Did I mention she’s a nurse and sees doctors all day at the hospital and she knows what to look for in a good doctor?
