Lake Lewisville Pediatrics

We've taken our son to Dr. Elhence since he was an infant (he's 9 now). We simply LOVE her. She always nails his diagnosis and her course of treatment works. Our son has had asthma since 2 years of age, so she's helped us through hospitalizations and other pretty hairy times. I wouldn't trust anyone else with his care. The clinic's billing office, however, is another story. We have health insurance with a hefty deductible. They require that we pay as if we don't have any insurance and then credit on our account for our next visit, instead of charging us the insured rate or sending us the credit. Frustrating, very frustrating, but Dr. Elhence is worth it.

My children were patients of Dr. Levy from birth. They are now 9 and 7, and for the last 2 years, due to financial circumstances, we had to get on the CHIPS program. Since her office doesn't accept it, we had to find doctors elsewhere, and WOW-- what a nightmare. I really miss her, and my kids medical care is suffering tremendously. She is very caring, thorough, and smart. We always found out what illness it was with her, not a bunch of guesses. Even when my son was having trouble with eczema and non stop headbanging (almost from birth)- she pointed us in the right direction of food allergies. Once removed, eczema went away, and headbanging stopped. The other doctors (that we must go to) don't understand anything about allergies apparently, and won't refer him to a specialist because they don't know that he's supposed to follow up on these things. I even had a doctor question why I needed to refill his expired Epipen for school. I miss the quality care from her for my kids.

Dr. Kathryn Levy is wonderful! She is so friendly and personable with the kids. Is very attentive to the kids. Never ignoring them.
