Primary Care
Authorizations/referrals are an arrangement between patients and their insurance carrier. Authorizations/referrals are required prior to treatment. It is the patient’s responsibility to bring a copy of their authorization/referral from their primary care doctor to our office. If a patient does not bring their authorization/referral with them, then their appointment will be cancelled and the patient will have to reschedule or be seen as a self-pay patient.

Orthopedics
Peraza Dermatology Group is excited to announce a new location for their New London practice. Located in the New London Shopping Center at 247 Newport Road, Suite 1, Peraza Dermatology Group built out the new space in conjunction with Concord Orthopedics, which will also operate out of the space.
Mohs Surgery

Skin Cancer
(or Mohs micrographic surgery) is an advanced approach to skin cancer treatment which enables the surgeon to remove skin cancer cells while preserving as much healthy skin as possible. Designed to be performed in medical clinic settings without admission to a hospital, Mohs is a safe and highly effective form of treatment for patients with some common types of cancer like basal cell carcinoma (BCC) or squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) and is occasionally recommended for some rare skin cancers or early melanoma.
Dermatology
Peraza Dermatology Group currently performs two types of photodynamic therapy (PDT) at our office. Your provider will select the most appropriate for your condition. These treatments are designed to remove actinic keratoses, but PDT treatments also have the unique ability to minimize pore size and reduce oil glands; therefore, it can be used to treat acne and lessen the appearance of some acne scars.
