Java Express

Java Express used to be my favorite place to go for a great cup of coffee. It had friendly staff, awesome tasting drinks, and a nice environment. From Diana to Sandra, that place rocked. I can't really say that anymore...



The management changed at the end of last year and everything pretty much went downhill from there. The new owner changed the menu and the quality of drinks plummetted. Only one employee remained from the transfer, and she was pretty much the only good thing about Java. She was friendly and made top of the line drinks. The new staff was friendly as well, but I don't think any of those girls ever got my drink right. The smoothies and frozen drinks were too icy and lacked a unique flavor and the hot drinks did not have the correct flavors at all. The atmosphere also changed as the new owner tried to make it Christian based. I don't have anything against religion, but if I wanted that atmosphere, I'd drink a cup of joe at church. And finally, I must say that one of the most unprofessional things I have seen was when the new manager brought her many children to the cafe. They were loud and uncontrollable, and one even stood on the table barefoot. Very unsanitary!



I have now been reduced to visiting my local Starbucks for their burned tasting coffee, of which I am very ashamed.
