Sher-Lin Apartments

Worst place in Lawton to live. When I first moved in my friend was managing it and so she had gotten rid of all the riff raff but shortly after she moved on to a better property and the new management quit doing background checks on people. I had men waiting outside the shared laundry room and groping me as I came out and walked by, my jeep got broke into and I just felt really unsafe there. I told the manager about all of this and they didn't do anything. I finally decided that I had to break my lease and move out because it was not a safe place for a woman to live and she said that was fine. Then... she sent a bill to collections that I'm fighting!! Do yourself a favor and go to the other side of town.

I have been here for 5 months and have seen the many upgrades that have been done on the apartments. New appliances, wood flooring, new carpets, and roofing. The apartments are older but the are in very good shape. The maintenance men respond quickly when I have had any issues and the manager is very flexible. The apartments are affordable and I even got 1/2 my first months rent when I moved in!
