Open Arms Behavioral Health

I was at Open Arms picking up a friend, when someone, maybe the office manager?, got angry and started saying very unkind things to an employee right in front of everyone. She was being deliberately hurtful to the employee in front of other people. This sort of behavior, especially from someone at a behavioral health care center, is completely unacceptable. Also, the intentional infliction of emotional pain is illegal, as is deliberately creating a hostile work environment. Those people at Open Arms had better be careful, or they could find themselves on the losing end of some lawsuits.

Whatever you do, do NOT apply to work here as an administrative assistant. The Office Manager is the wife of the "Clinical Provider," so whenever they are at odds with each other, she takes it out on the Front office staff. She is also a slow learner, and technologically challenged, but if you don't do things in a way that she understands, she throws a tantrum. When she is in a bad mood, which is often, she also has a bad habit of hovering, nitpicking, and if she is in an extra bad mood, she will outwardly threaten your job. She will do this in front of other people and unprovoked. Very unprofessional management, and highly recommend NOT working here.
