Phoenix Air Conditioning was started in 2006 as a sister company to Designed Systems Inc. which has been in business since 1993. It was created to specialize in large commercial projects and apartment/condo projects in the Nevada and California markets. The management staff of both companies consists of three executives; Dustin Christensen, Lonnie Christensen and Randy Story. Combined we have over 125 years of experience. I, Dustin Christensen, own both Designed Systems Incorporated and Phoenix Air Conditioning Inc. I am the third consecutive generation performing air conditioning and refrigeration in the Las Vegas area since 1955. Since I grew up in the air conditioning business, I personally have over 20 years experience in every aspect of air conditioning installation and service. Lonnie Christensen previously owned the national companies World Air Conditioning and M.J. Wood and Associates. Under his direction these companies installed and serviced air conditioning in over 100,000 apartments and condos across the United States. In addition, they completed every form of commercial air conditioning available from light commercial to project as large as the MGM Grand Hotel Casino, Theme Park and Event Center. Randy Story started in the sheet metal business with the US Navy prior to the invention of air conditioning and has a career of over 63 consecutive years in the air conditioning and sheet metal business. I assure you we have come across and installed or service virtually every aspect of air conditioning, heating, ventilation, refrigeration, chilled water piping and cooler erection available in the market. We have a complete sheet metal shop. We can furnish and install Class I Hoods, Grease Ducts, Ceramic Fire Wrap, Stainless Steel Wall Coverings, Hood Balance and Cooler/Freezer installation. We provide designed build plans and blue prints to your specifications daily. Since we do not subcontract any portion of our work, we can coordinate the project better and thereby reduce costs. We will always provide everything you need and never suggest anything you don't need.
