        Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort is the largest ski and snowboard resort in southern New England, summer home to Mountain Adventure Park and the only mountain resort in North America to generate its own energy using alternative wind power. Jiminy features extensive conference and wedding facilities for groups up to 400 people. Since opening in 1948 Jiminy Peak has evolved to become a 4 season resort, offering something for everyone.         absolutely horrible

        Please dont waste your money. We checked in on 5/8/2010 for one night paid $140 for a suite, one bedroom. Place was a ghost town, when we got there the lobby is in disrpair filthy and with plywood floors. There are signs asking that you excuse thier appearance but remodeling does not excuse filth! When we checked in and went to our room the hallway stank of weed and was filled with smoke. The front desk came up to our room to explain that they were aware of what was going on on our hallway and because we had our 2 toddlers with us they were moving our room. They moved us down to the main level and when we got to our room I was shocked! The room was rank and mildewed the carpets were stained and the walls dirty......It was nasty. Our children (3 & 4) somehow found beer and rusty knifes and appliances in an unlocked cabinet and that was the last straw. I told the desk we were leaving and i wanted my money back....THEY TOOK A $140 DEPOSIT! They refused to refund my money and leter agreed to refund the room less a $50 deposit! DO NOT GO HERE! We stayed at the Crown Plaza in Pittsfield and it was glorious and less expensive than Jimminy Peaks!
