Keep looking. I went here because they took my cut rate vision insurance and the office looks nice. Assistants did my exam, they seemed uncertain and said the doctor would check me. The doctor was odd, he spoke rudely and did not check my prescription. He decided I needed contacts that were very expensive and only available as refills from his office. When I was checking out, I felt like I was bartering on what my insurance would pay. The woman used a calculator to factor in my insurance and if I had not mentioned that I should get a percentage off the exams fee, she would not have given it to me. I still feel ripped off. I paid out of pocket for a second opinion and got a great exam from another optometrist and good priced contacts I can refill online

What a wonderful office and staff! I was so impressed with the knowledge and care of each staff member. The office is clean and beautiful. Dr. Love completely explained some issues I was having with my vision. I was very comfortable with Dr. Love, and plan to bring the rest of my family. The office is busy, but I have never had a better eye exam. They have a nice selection of eyeglasses. I highly recommend Lake Mary Eye Care and Dr. Love!!

I went to lake mary eye care because they accepted my insurance. The office is in a great location, conveniently located off of I4. My prescription needed to be updated so I met with a nice lady to pick out glasses. They had a large selection of glasses to choose from. I thought becasue the office is so close to heathrow it would be really expensive, but not at all. I love my glasses. I can see so well with them and the compliments keep on coming. The doctor and staff were all so nice and helpful. If you want to see good and look good go to Lake mary eye care.

Dr. Love, what a fitting name for this eye doctor. I had my first eye exam with Dr. Love in July of 2010. I don't usually write reviews about doctors, but I had such a fantastic experience that I had to share this with the world. I was referred to Dr. Love by a close friend, who was also very happy with her visit. During the exam Dr. love and his staff were both thorough and pleasant. My expectations were exceeded to say the least. Before going to Dr. Love I had no idea that there were differences in eye care. This eye exam was about an hour and was worth every minute. He has a beautiful office conveniently located off of I4. There was no wait time for the appointment. Dr. Love actually took the time to talk to me and understand what I wantd out of the visit. He did write a new prescription for my glasses, which I ordered from his office. The selection of glasses were affordable and chic. I love my new glasses and I am seeing better then ever in all distances. If you are looking for a great eye doctor look no further then Dr. Love at Lake Mary Eye Care.

I made an appointment for my duaghter to see Dr. Love because she was having trouble in school. I was told by the her pediatrician to see a developmental optometrist. I was nervous to take Kelsey to the eye doctor for the first time because of the drops and stuff. Dr. Love was great! Kelsey was calm the whole time. He was thorough and kind. He diagnosed Kelsey with convergence insufficiency. I had never heard of such a thing... He explained everything and told me that that what was causing her headaches. He prescribed reading glasses. They had a great selection of kids glasses that were cute and affordable! Great doctor, great staff, great location, great experience!

I have work for many Dr's in Flordia and I will say Dr . Love is the most caring and loving Dr I have met ,he cares about his patient's ocular health and Finances he has worked with many familes and has a heart I will recommed anyone to see him not only because I work for him but because i trust him as a doctor.

My experience with Lake Mary Eye Care has been appalling, and anyone who cares about their eyes should stay clear of this business.



Upon completing an eye exam in February 2008, the doctor prescribed three different numbers for contact lenses, and told me to pick the one I like best. No effort was made to check which number was most suitable, nor was any prescription given for eye glasses.



After prescribing three different numbers, the next appointment was scheduled for next year. No effort was made by staff to book a follow-up appointment to check the suitability of the prescribed numbers.



To add insult to injury, once the exam was complete, the total charge came to $188, despite being told that the fee was $65 over the phone. Furthermore, the doctor carried out and charged for refraction work which was specifically rejected.



Upon giving Dr Robert F. Love the benefit of the doubt and trying the three prescribed numbers for three days unsatisfactorily, I visited the center again to follow up. Both Dr Love and his staff were unwilling to help, outright rude, and demeaning.



As an aspiring Radiologic Technologist who works daily with patients and understands the importance of patient care, Lake Mary Eye Care is clearly an organization which does not put its patients first and fails abysmally in this area.



You would be hard-pressed to find any place worse than Lake Mary Eye Care.
