Childrens Center of Lake Forest

One of the best on the North Shore.

Childrens center has been apart of my kids lives since they were both 6 weeks old. I honestly could not be happier with the level of care they recieve. All of the staff is wonderful and you can tell that they truly love the children in their care! My oldest (4.5) has learned so many things from being in a daycare setting and my 1 year old gets so much love from all the staff. I would not be able to find a better place to entrust with my children. They offer several exciting and meaningful opportunities for the kids. The staff has definitely become more like family in the 4+ years i have been trusting them with the care of my children.

I completely disagree with the sole review for the Children's Center. I have a four year old and a two year old and both have been at the Children's Center since they were babies. The teachers are wonderful, truly caring, and my kids love them. The director, Myrna, is very wonderful and I am completely surprised at the description of her in the other review. It is not as I know her and have known her for four years. I have met and know many parents through the Children's Center who are equally happy with them. The Lake Forest area offers very little with respect to daycare. I've checked them all out and this one is a place you can entrust your children.

The director is very unprofessional, she ignores your request, never lets you talk, yells at parents, tells your personal information.Their rates are lower than most centers, but you also get what you pay for... The toys are outdated, dirty, torn and don't have batteries. They use a lot of bouncers, swings, and other things to entertain a baby instead of interacting with the child. I would say I'm very knowledgable about their facility and recommend you look elsewhere for a QUALITY day care!
