        I rented three textbooks from ...

        I rented three textbooks from neebo.com and the whole process has been an absolute nightmare. A week after I rented them, I was charged an extra 200 dollars from Rocky Top Books for no reason whatsoever and had to go through a lengthy dispute process wherein it was discovered that the rental return dates had been incorrect in their system, so it looked like I hadn't returned the books even though I didn't have to return them for another six months.



        THEN, after returning the books four weeks before their due date, I was charged 157 dollars on two separate occasions, and when I called and asked about the charges, they said, "We have no idea why we charged you. We'll refund the money as soon as possible."



        Frankly, I would sooner buy the textbooks at retail price than rent them through Rocky Top Books again.

        This bookstore is in a convenient spot for UT students, but that is the only benefit. DO NOT ever rent books from here. Other textbook rental companies give you a polite reminder to return books but RT automatically charges you if you don't return on the specified day... which is the last day of finals. The last thing I'm thinking about during finals is my book return date. My account was charged $74 for one book. I will never rent or buy books from here again and I will advise others to do the same. Try Chegg, they plant a tree for every book you rent and leave you a polite voicemail or email reminder!!
