Elyse and her seven siblings grew up in Medical Lake, WA. She recently moved to Kirkland in pursuit of her education and career goals. She is currently a student at Lake Washington Institute of Technology and plans to become a Certified Physical Therapist Assistant upon completion of the college program. Elyse is very passionate about helping others and has devoted much of her time to volunteer work. Nine years as an advocate for the Arthritis Foundation and eight years as a Pediatric Unit Volunteer at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children’s Hospital in Spokane, WA cemented her decision to work in healthcare. Physical Therapy has served a life-changing role in the management of her Rheumatoid Arthritis, and her positive experience as a patient encouraged her educational objective. Opportunity to shadow Nick Jackson, PT, DPT provided valuable insight and reinforced her commitment to become a Physical Therapist Assistant. Elyse loves spending time with her boyfriend Zack and their two dogs, Lulu and Koda.
