I recently had my wedding cake made by this shop, it was beautiful and my guests enjoyed it very much. We were supposed to pick it up due to our wedding being in Round Rock but we had a last minute hiccup and weren't able to. We called and asked what our options were and the owner agreed to deliver - free of charge- just to help us out. They were the friendliest group of ladies I've met.

On behalf of Works of Art Cakes, Mrs. Schmidt has set out on a personal vendetta against this business as you can see she has repeatedly gone to every website available to leave reviews that are untruthful. The facts are: Mrs Schmidt did not like her cake, refused it and was given a full refund. Not much more a business can do for a person. Please review the positive feedback and speak to the owners of this business before making judgement based on one person's vendetta. Thank you.

I couldn't believe how unprofessional these people where .i had placed an order in may to have my son's birthday cake done for June 20th 2014 and on June 19th at 6pm i received a phone call to tell me that my cake will not be done because her daughter had been sick all week so I ask why didn't I receive a call a week ago if she has been sick I was told o sorry but she just went to the doctors today day . I only went to this place because my friend recommended told me about them my son was so upset that he didn't get the cake he wanted for his birthday

Vavette and her staff are professional, courteous and efficient to say the least. Vavette designed my wedding cake back in Sept of 2006 with just a few suggestions and it turned out BEAUTIFUL! Everyone at the wedding was impressed by the awesome taste of our wedding cake.Vavette also offers your first year anniversary cake for free instead of you having to freeze the top layer. The following year I asked Vavette to design a retirement cake for one of my favorite pharmacists that I worked with and once again...Works of Art did not disappoint. Vavette actually created a replica of a Viagra pill! It was awesome everyone from the pharmacy that attended the party was impressed by the attention to detail. Simply the best!!!! I love her work and she is one of the kindest people I've met since PCSing here to Texas. She's done my husband's promotion cakes and several of my friends cakes too. We love you Works of Art Cakes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All I can say is "Works of Art Cakes" will always have my family's business. We've been doing business with her since she opened in 2007 and we have never been disappointed in her cakes. She is an honest businesswoman and has been highlighted here locally in the newspaper for doing an awesome job with her business and cakes. If you want a great cake that looks as good as it tastes, then look no further. She books way out for a reason, so if you want one of her cakes, you have to get in early or else you will miss out. I had my wedding cake made at Works of Art Cakes, they did an outstanding job and delivered it right on time. I had so many compliments on it and when I posted it on Facebook, everyone was asking where I had it made. We will definetly keep doing business with Works of Art. This is the best place to get a cake, no doubt about it. My baby shower cake came from her shop and I've since used them for all of my sons birthday cakes that's 3 and counting. You can see them all on her website. She's a sweetheart to deal with and always has a creative touch to whatever you want her to do. We don't go anywhere else for our cakes and all of our friends use them too. The prices can't be beat either.

I ordered a cake for my husbands 40th birthday and it was fabulous. I wanted to have something special so, I opted for an Atari game console and joystick. The young lady who took my order was professional and friendly. She asked if I had a design and I said no. She allowed me to use their computer to Google some options. She gave me a reasonable quote and what the deposit would be. I placed my order. When I returned the cake was ready as promised and was so awesome. My husband was so pleased and the guests loved it. The design was spot on and the cake was extremely moist and delicious. I have recommended Vavette and her bakery ever since :)

I ordered a cake through this company about a year and a half ago, and I will honestly not order from them again. For the first appointment to look at the different cakes they make, no one showed up and the business was closed. They could have at least called me to cancel. Then when I went in for a taste test, the owner stayed in the back the entire time instead of talking to me about what is available. The on the day of the delivery, they lost a vital piece that belonged on the cake and denied ever losing it. They wouldn't take responsibility and ignored all my phone calls. The cake was delicious and beautiful but the service wasn't as tasty. I would think first before ordering from them. I like good service with my cake.
