If I could give this school less than one star, I would. My son attended this school for a little over a year. Last week another student, completely unprovoked, bashed him in the face with a chair causing not only a black eye but seven stitches as well. When my child was picked up from school he needed to be rushed to the hospital so we accepted the story the director gave us. The next morning I expected a director to reach out to me and tell me why my son now had a huge gash above his eye, No one ever did. When i called, the director danced around the story. I asked her numerous times what happened. After about ten minutes she finally gave me the scenario. The child charged across the class. Backed my son into a bookshelf and then hit him so hard in the face with the metal legs of the chair that it caused SEVEN stitches. My son TOOK A BLOW TO THE FACE WITH A CHAIR!! The director told me they were taking the matter very seriously and the other child would face expulsion. I decided to set up a meeting with the owner the moment I got off. I have NEVER felt so mistreated in my life. She lacked compassion and understanding. My sons injuries were nothing to her. She talked down to me. She talked down about my son and wouldn't listen to a word I said. Had I known my son was going to a school run by such a frigid person, I would have never enrolled him. She looked me in the eyes and told me I should be THANKFUL my son only had seven stitches because parents lose their children to death everyday. As that is true, it shows her lack of sympathy toward my son and I. The other child is still attending the school and going to class as per usual. As a parent, I would like to know if my son were in a class with such a violent child. My son has been removed from the school and I feel so grateful that I don't have to worry about his well-being. Please think twice about allowing your child to attend such a volatile facility.
