Nelson Estates Apartments

You do NOT want to move to these apartments! Staff seems nice when you come to view their model but after you move here it’s another story, especially if there are issues. First, the model seems nice...a bit dated but decent. Well, the units are quite dated for the price they are charging. 2) they’re not honest about noise and they don’t care about the level of noise you have to deal with...they only care if the noise is between 9pm-9am. So if there are kids running and screaming thru the halls all afternoon they don’t care! 3) it’s the kind of management company that likes to nickle and dime you... there’s an admin fee of $135 just to sign the lease; a $25 fee to park your car in their lot; a $55 fee withheld from your security deposit to clean the carpet. I’ve never heard or been subjected to theses kinds of fees and I’ve lived in a lot of apartments in 3 different states! If I hadn’t bee moving here from another state and had more time to find a place...I’d have kept looking. So, do yourself a favor and keep looking (I suspect there’s a lot of subsidized housing going on her so I guess they need to get extra $ off people who are not being subsidized). Oh almost forgot...they leave you to clean after the prior tenant and if there’s cockroaches... they’ll come spray, sure, but they really don’t care that you have to put up with it and clean, clean, clea, because you know cockroaches spread diseases. Oh, almost forgot this too...there’s a fee every time you pay your rent
