Tree Removal and Planting

Tree Removal
All our hardwood firewood is unconditionally guaranteed to be seasoned, of proper measure and delivered in a timely manor. We use mixed hardwoods recycled from tree removal work-never removing trees just for firewood production.
Stump Grinding and Removal
Stump grinding is done onsite and in the ground. Our nimble 36" machine is about the size of a riding lawn mower (with a 66 hp 4 cylinder diesel engine) can fit into tight spots to remove tree stumps, hedges, arborvides and more. We can also clean out the stump holes and refill with topsoil ready to plant or sod.
Storm Damage Cleanup
Proper pruning and trimming can prevent storm damage like this. But in the event of a storm Finco crews are available 24x7.
Tree Planting

Tree Pruning and Trimming
We do also practice tree trimming and pruning practices set forth by the NAA, ISA, and TCI but are not members of these organizations.We do support several other unrelated organizations such as Ducks Unlimited, Whitetails Unlimited, and the Wild Turkey Federation.
Tree Maintenance
Sometimes this may cause shortages so take delivery early! Firewood for cooking, smoking or camping also available. Trees from tree work are cut and let lay for 1 year then split and set in air dry bins for another year. Premium quality clean wood ready for delivery nearly 2 years after trees are removed. Our delivery personal are neat, timely and efficient.
Arborist Services
Not only do we have our own Certified Arborist Program, but all of our Tree Care Professionals must participate.
Land Clearing
We employ highly trained Arborculture Professionals, who have shown the ability to properly care for trees. Our company is able to provide complete tree care, from tree/limb removal, select pruning, dead wooding, stump removal, lot clearing, emergency tree service and much more.
Tree Mulching
Finco Tree/Wood Service is also a Licensed Iowa Nursery. We sell and install new trees and shrubs and can move trees with a 60+ inch tree spade. Large trees or potted available at our nursery in Kelley, IA. Call for a quote today! Just bring or fax your plant needs to us for high quality Northern grown trees and woody plants. Whether we install or you do it yourself, We guarantee healthy, happy plants! Mulch always available at little or no cost.

Lawn Mowing
Remember Finco Tree and Wood Service for all your needs! We provided trimming, thinning, cleanup, hedge trimming, mulching, planting, general hauling, stump grinding, rough cut mowing, on-site custom chipping, and general arboriculture. Top quality live trees & shrubs are also for sale. Native lumber (Ash, Mulberry, Oak, Cedar, and Pine) is available for sale by the board foot.
