I have always held Omar's in high esteem, but have been forced to change my mind. I have a pontoon boat, and bought a nice cover there several years ago that cost nearly three thousand dollars. The windows in the cover needed replacing, but the cover was still good. I took the covers in a year ago, and paid top dollar to get the windows replaced. When I got the cover back, they had put the wrong size windows in, and of course the covers no longer fit the boat. After months of discussion back and forth, I finally got them to agree to stand behind their product, and replace the windows with the correct size at no charge. After waiting for months, and numerous phone calls, they finally finished the covers. However, Omar's charged us the same amount they did last year, and did not complete the job. And the work they did complete was very shabby. The owner informed me they spent a week on the project, argued with me that they didn't replace all the windows last year, and that this was the amount I had to pay to get my boat back. He also stated he wasn't going to work on any more boat covers. I advise anyone out there to please reconsider before taking ANY work there. These people do a lot of business out of town, and they really don't have to worry about their word or reputation; however, I am local, and am sorry to report that I spent good money with these folks, my covers still don't fit properly, I have straps with no snaps on them, and a zipper that goes to nothing. Very shabby job, and an even worse attitude, including burn out and arrogance. I own a business myself. I could never treat my customers like this and expect to stay in business.
