D & K's Grocery

When I go in D & K's in brings me back to my childhood. It reminds me of my favorite store where we would go camping every summer. the local news and papers scattered on the front steps, that great homemade food smells, the wonderful ice cream machines, homemade goodies, a little bit of everything. When we moved to Jamaica I would always wait to do my shopping in Londonderry or Manchester. My husband pointed out to me that the prices at D & K's are the same if not better than the big stores and you get a wonderful hello from at least one member (if not 2-3) of the family when you come in. The sandwiches are tasty and fresh. The wine stock is incredible. I am so amazed how much there is in this little store...and if you stay around long enough you might meet everyone in the town!
