Amy Schultz is a U.P. native growing up in the small town of Watton. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Minnesota Duluth with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2005 and completed her law degree at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska in 2008. She returned back to the area to practice law with our firm as a general practitioner. Her primary areas of practice include estate planning, family law, Medicaid planning, probate estate administration, trust administration, business consulting, business purchase and sales, liquor license transfers, and real estate transactions. Amy is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Marquette County Bar Association. She is admitted to practice in the State of Michigan and also in the Federal Court for the Western District of Michigan, including the Bankruptcy Court. Amy is a member of the following sections of the Michigan Bar: Probate & Estate Planning Section, Elder Law & Disability Rights Section.

Dan Mead is a native of Northwest Ohio. After high school he served in the US Marine Corps as an infantryman for 4 years. Once a Marine, always a Marine. He attended Oakland University and Thomas M. Cooley Law School, graduating cum laude. Dan is a general practitioner with his main areas of practice involving family law, elder law, real estate, probate and civil litigation. Dan is a member of the Michigan State Bar and the Marquette County Bar Association. Dan is admitted to practice in the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community Tribal Court and the Federal District Court. He is a member of various sections of the state bar including the Real Property Law Section, Probate & Estate Planning Section, General Practice Section, Elder Law and Family Law Sections. While in college, Dan met the love of his life, a Yooper girl named Kelly. She brought him across the Mackinac Bridge and there was no turning back. Dan and Kelly live in Marquette with their two children. Dan is actively involved in the community and sits on the Lake Superior Community Partnership Board of Directors.
