Cherry Hill Manor

Lots of amenities when you live at Cherry Hill Manor which is nice because you get what you pay for. Not too far from Lake St Claire either, if you like to travel. Really you're close to anywhere in Southeast MI because you can just hop on M12 and junction to 94, 75 and 275 within a few miles. Staff is nice, rent is decent, and the buildings are tended for the msot part. This place isn't flashy though and thats nice cause you don't have to worry about ruffians.

Cherry Hill is your average, run-of-the-mill apartment complex. It's got one and two bedrooms, a pool, and lawns everywhere. It's never super busy, like some apartments, because I know there aren't a ton of "escape from mom and dads" kids around. The staff can be preoccupied sometimes, as the office isn't huge, but they do make a point of greeting you when you come in.

My last apartment had a zero-tolerance pet policy. If you had one, you couldn't have it there, or you were in for MAJOR fines. This place is a lot more lenient. If you've got a cat or a small dog, they'll let you have it, but like a lot of places, you can't have a pit bull or something massive that looks scary. Another perk is having free water. My last place had a bundle for water sewer and trash removal, but it wasn't cheap. I haven't experienced any issues with trash collection at the dumpsters, so I guess it's taken care of by the property too.

I called yesterday to see what the prices for the units are, because it wasn't posted on the website. Jackie answered, but put me on hold for about 5 minutes. Once she came back to the phone, she was very nice and very helpful. She gave the range of prices for the units, including and excluding dishwasher rental fees; the security deposit fee, and let me know about their 13 month lease deal for new residents for a free first month. Rent seems reasonable for the amenities and the size of the apartments. Guess I'll have to go see them in person :)

Cherry Hill has great amenities, but I really like the free water, the gated entry, and that they have laundry facilities available for residents.

Kinda like that it's gated, not that I think anyone would really come break in, at least not in this area. Decent sized pool that's good for chillin in the summer. My layout is pretty standard of a one bedroom apt. Wish my kitchen wasn't in the corner though.
