Encore Restaurant

Fourth time to Encore was last night. Every time we go, it gets a little worse. Service was once a strong point here, but has sliding down that slippery slope since visit #3. With large crowds stemming from a play next door that Encore was definitely aware of, they had customers order at the counter. The line to order stretched all the way to the door. I was totally embarrassed that I recommended this place to my friends. The food we ordered was very good, but you need to get your chicken fried steak/chicken fried chicken issues sorted out. To have two sizes listed as available only to find out there’s just one size - touted by waitstaff as a small portion and it’s the higher price just seems shady. Still - food was great. Management and waitstaff might bring this place down single handedly.
