The company is the first and only United States domestic manufacturers of commercial scale automotive-grade lithium-ion battery systems. Its lithium-ion battery chemistries and technologies serve automotive sectors with applications in energy grid infrastructure, government, aerospace and other growing markets. The company has a 100,000 square foot state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Indianapolis. EnerDel Inc. manufactures cells and energy storage systems in the United States and customizes its products as per the needs of clients and projects. The alliances of the company include Argonne National Laboratory (ANL), ITOCHU and Kyushu Electric Power (KEPCO).
